Candy Wrapper Recycling
GLR will be collecting empty candy wrappers at all recycling drives this fall and winter. Just bring them with your regular recyclables and we’ll make sure they’re processed responsibly.

Pitch the Pumpkins!
Thanks to a great collaboration with the City of Laingsburg and DBD Dumpsters, we’re also collecting pumpkins and gourds at all November recycling drives.
Before dropping off, please:

• Remove candles, lights, and decorations
• Place pumpkins in our designated dumpsters (not in food scrap bins)

These pumpkins will head to the City of Laingsburg’s compost site, where they’ll be mixed with yard waste and turned into compost—right here in our community!
