Parks

The City of Laingsburg maintains four public parks.  The following is a list of the parks and what the City of Laingsburg currently maintains at the parks.


McClintock Park – 255 E. McClintock, Laingsburg MI 48848

McClintock Park is approximately 4.5 acres in size, located between McClintock Street and High Street.

Bates Scout Park – 900 West Street, Laingsburg MI 48848

Bates Scout Park is located on 18.5 acres northwest of town at West Street and Meridian Road.

Recreational facilities include:

  • 2 pavilions (35’ x 65’ and 30’ x 40’), electricity, lights and water
  • Concessions Building
  • Flush Toilets (open in the summer only)
  • Lions Club storage building (30’ x 40’)
  • Water Pump
  • Flag Pole/ Announcement Board
  • Gravel and Grass parking areas
  • 30’ x 30’ concrete pad w/basketball hoop
  • 5 baseball diamonds w/backstops and fencing
  • Basketball courts
  • Gaga Ball pit
  • 1 horseshoe pit
  • picnic tables, grills, benches and trash receptacles
  • Playground equipment including: swings, slides, merry go round, spring toys, climber and a play structure.
  • 4 sets of bleachers
  • Electrical outlets available


Memorial Park

Memorial Park is an area 25’ x 119’ located within the central business district near the post office.  The park includes benches, 7 Flagpoles flying the POW, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Air Force and a large U.S. Flag.   It is landscaped along a lighted pathway with a brick memorial wall honoring veterans.  A drop box is available for appropriate flag disposal.


Abbott/Treat Street

Abbott/Treat Street is 1.5 acres in size and located southwest of town.
