Founded in 1905, the Laingsburg Public Library is located at 255 E. Grand River in the Central Business District. Hours of operation are
6 days a week, including Saturday, staffed by one full time librarian, three part time librarians. This is a no fee facility which is funded through penal fines, legal contract money and local appropriated income. The service area includes the city of Laingsburg, Sciota, Woodhull and Victor Townships: the service area population is 6,754. Circulation for 2006-2007 was 26,225.
