The Laingsburg Public Library will serve as a resource that fosters community connection to the heritage of the past, the opportunities of the present, and the possibilities of the future.

Founded in 1905, the Laingsburg Public Library is located at 255 E. Grand River in the Central Business District. Hours of operation are 6 days a week, including Saturday, staffed by one full time librarian, three part time librarians. This is a no fee facility which is funded through penal fines, legal contract money and local appropriated income. The service area includes the city of Laingsburg, Sciota, Woodhull and Victor Townships: the service area population is 6,754. Circulation for 2006-2007 was 26,225.
